Takapūwāhia Marae Refurbishment

Rangitupu Group Limited (RGL) is proud to have undertaken essential construction works at the Takapūwāhia Marae, aimed at preserving and enhancing this important cultural landmark of Te Iwi o Ngāti Toa Rangatira.

The project involved comprehensive scaffolding, shrink wrap, and weather-tight protection works to ensure the integrity and longevity of several Marae structures.

RGL completed exterior and interior works on the Wharekai, exterior work on the Wharenui and more recently interior and exterior work on the Old Wharekai.

View Rd Development

Rangitupu Group Limited (RGL) were contracted to complete works on

24 House Development. The View Rd Development was deemed to have Water Tightness Issues and were bought by Ngāti Toa Rangatira off the Porirua City Council following a Weathertight Resolution Service Assessment. All 24 Units had to undergo full renovations. RGL completed the below works over the duration of the Project.

Painting and Scaffolding:

From the project's inception, painting and particularly scaffolding were integral. The initial scaffolding set the stage for subsequent construction activities, ensuring a seamless and efficient workflow from start to finish. RGL engineered and designed a suspended scaffold that hung over a cliff face to allow for Painting and Carpentry works to take place.

Plastering:

Building upon our proven track record, we expanded our services to include plastering as part of the contract deliverables.

This addition enhanced the aesthetic and durability of the homes, contributing to their long-term sustainability.

Construction:

RGL were contracted to perform carpentry works on these units. This required meticulous planning, design, propping, and formwork to ensure structural integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.

RGL completed these works in an efficient manner ahead of schedule.
